Make a quick meal with this vegan cashew based cheddar cheese sauce powder! It is perfect for mac and cheese, in a casserole, as the topping for a casserole, on vegan burgers, pizza, roast veggies, etc. This is the same as our nacho sauce powder, but without the Mexican style spices. This powder is made from ground cashews, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, and the perfect combination of spices. Cashews and tapioca combine to make a perfect creamy and cheesy consistency to this sauce. The cashews are blended with the other ingredients so that they are finely ground. All you have to do is add water (and oil if desired for a creamier sauce)! How to Cook: there are 2 ways of cooking this
  1. Easy - mix contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter if desired. Cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If it is too thick, add more water.  For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil.
  2. Extra Creamy (recommended!) - in a blender, add contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter. Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute. Pour into a small pan and cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If too thick, add a little water. For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil.
We recommend making the extra creamy sauce, but honestly even doing it the easy way makes a creamy sauce and when you are eating it on pasta you almost can’t tell the difference. The extra creamy sauce will be thicker than the easy sauce, so you may need to add a little extra water after cooking. After cooking, taste and add more salt/pepper if desired. Adding oil/butter is optional as it is plenty flavorful and creamy as it is. But the oil does give it more richness, so try it both ways and see which you prefer. OR don’t cook it all, just use it as a tasty cheesy sprinkle on pasta, popcorn, veggies, salad, etc! How to Serve: This cheddar style sauce is great on:
  • Tacos
  • burritos
  • nachos
  • veggie burgers
  • roasted veggies
  • steamed broccoli
  • on baked, boiled, or mashed potatoes
  • mixed into pasta/rice/chickpeas/veggie for a casserole

Ultimate Mac’n’Cheese: Cook 250-400g of pasta (less pasta means more saucy dish). Drain the pasta and put back into the pan. Blend the powder with the water/oil and pour into the cooked pasta. Cook over medium, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Taste and add salt/pepper if desired. Serve as is, or pour into baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake for 15-20 minutes.

One pack has approximately 95g of powder, enough to make about 2 1/2 cups of sauce.

All you have to do is add water (and olive oil if desired for a more creamy and authentic sauce)! How to Cook: there are 2 ways of cooking this

We recommend making the extra creamy sauce, but honestly even doing it the easy way makes a creamy sauce and when you are eating it on pasta you almost can’t tell the difference. The extra creamy sauce will be thicker than the easy sauce, so you may need to add a little extra water after cooking. After cooking, taste and add more salt/pepper if desired. Adding oil/butter is optional as it is plenty flavorful and creamy as it is. But the oil does give it more richness, so try it both ways and see which you prefer. How to Serve: Alfredo is traditionally served with fettuccine noodles, and often a meat such as chicken or shrimp. I suggest chopping or shredding some of our shredded un-chicken, or herb roast and sautéing with seasonings of choice until crispy. Mix your sauce with the pasta and add your un-chicken or roast on top. Serve with a salad or steamed, sautéed or roasted veggies. Mushrooms are also great!. Sprinkle our vegan grated parmesan or hard parmesan on top! This sauce is also great on veggie burgers, roasted veggies, steamed broccoli, mixed into pasta/rice/chickpeas/veggie for a casserole, and more! Kids love it as a quick Mac and cheese sauce too! Cook up some macaroni, make the sauce, and mix together. A perfect quick meal! I like to add frozen peas to the cooking macaroni right before draining it. OR use the powder as a cheesy sprinkle on popcorn, pasta, veggies, salad, etc.! This sauce is great on zoodles (zucchini noodles) as well! Use a vegetable peeler to make long strips of zucchini and very lightly steamed them to wilt before tossing with the sauce. A lovely light lunch!

Vegan Herb Roast is a chicken or turkey style roast and is so versatile! It is precooked and can be eaten cold or heated up/cooked in several different ways. Here are some uses:
  • Slice it cold for sandwiches, wraps, etc.
  • Chop and use on pizza.
  • Slice or chop and heat up with some barbecue sauce. Serve as a side dish or in a sandwich.
  • Slice or chop it up, sauté or grill it with a touch of oil, and use it as a side dish, topping, or mix it into your dishes such as fried noodles, noodle soup, etc.
  • Chop and stir fry with onions and veggies. Add a quick stir fry sauce or sweet/sour sauce and serve with rice or noodles.
  • Chop and use in a curry, stew, or soup.
  • Bake the whole roast to heat it up (or just grill/sauté thick slices) and serve with mashed potatoes and other veggies with gravy on the side. To bake/roast, heat oven to 170 C. Place the roast in a pan and baste with a mixture of 1Tbsp oil, 1Tbsp soy sauce (or bouillon powder/cube), 2Tbsp water and seasonings of choice (black pepper, herbs, garlic powder, etc). Bake for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes or so. Cover the roast while baking to keep it moist and easy to slice.

Vegan shredded un-chicken is so versatile and very tasty! It is a whole protein, being made of a combination of chickpeas and wheat gluten. Together these two have all the essential proteins your body needs. It is made in a special way so that it shreds easily, similar to cooked chicken. One pack has more than 1 full cup of chickpeas in it (but you can’t tell), so it’s a great way to eat more legumes, especially for those who don’t like eating plain chickpeas.  It is also soy free. It is precooked and can be eaten cold or heated up/cooked in several different ways. It comes in a pack of medium/large size shreds. Use as is or shred or chop into smaller pieces. To shred, just pull it apart, it will shred at the grain easily. If frozen, allow to thaw before shredding. Here are some uses:
  • Add a flour/bread crumb coating and fry or bake just as you would chicken tenders or chicken nuggets.
  • Chop to desired size and use in a chicken-style curry. Since it is already cooked, it does not need to simmer long in the sauce. Make your curry (I like to add some vegan broth powder or bouillon into the curry for flavor) and then add the un-chicken near the end, to simmer for just a few minutes. You can add it cold or you can sauté the un-chicken first to get some crispy edges and slightly firmer texture.
  • Shred or slice it cold for sandwiches, wraps, etc.
  • Chop and use on pizza.

Looking for simple, tasty, and nutritious breakfasts? With this vegan omelet and french toast mix, it's super easy! This versatile mix can be used to make simple omelets, fluffy omelets, scramble, French toast, quiche, frittata, and even a roti/wrap/tortilla!

Instructions:

Easy Omelet: whisk 1/3 cup omelet mix with 1/3 cup water. Let mixture sit for 5 minutes and whisk again to get rid of lumps (or simply blend for a quick smooth mixture). Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour in half of the batter. Spread thinly or leave thick. Cook until top has almost no shiny/wet spots. Flip and cook the other side until lightly browned. Add any desired fillings and fold in half. Repeat with other half of batter. If you spread it thinly this can be used as a wrap/tortilla or instead of a tosai/roti.

Fluffy Omelet: Use a food processor, small blender, or stick blender to blend 1/2 cup (50g) of mix with 300g silken tofu. Cook same as the easy omelet. Omelet will be a bit more delicate, soft and fluffy, more like an actual egg omelet. If you make it thick you can break it up after cooking both sides to make it like scrambled eggs.

French toast: whisk 1/4 cup mix with 1/2 cup nondairy milk. If desired, add some cinnamon and/or sugar to the mixture. Let sit 5 minutes and whisk again to get rid of lumps. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat. Dip both sides of bread into mix and cook both sides until golden brown.  Repeat with more bread. Serve sweet with fruit and syrup, or serve savory with chutney and curry.

 

Variations:

  • Add pepper, spices, and herbs to the omelet mixture before cooking. Black pepper, chili flakes, curry leaves, cumin, etc.
  • Add finely chopped veggies to the easy or fluffy omelet mixture before cooking such as capsicum, chile, onion, spinach, grated carrot, etc.
  • Omelet filling ideas- sauteed onions, mushrooms, spinach, vegan sausage, vegan cheese
  • Use the mixture from easy omelet or fluffy omelet and mix in fillings and bake in a muffin tray (grease the tray or use cupcake holders) at 180C until firm and lightly browned. Or use as the base of a quiche or frittata. Make sure it is cooked thoroughly, as raw chickpea flour does not taste pleasant!

This powder is made from ground cashews, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, and the perfect combination of spices. Cashews and tapioca combine to make a perfect creamy and cheesy consistency to this sauce. The cashews are blended with the other ingredients so that they are finely ground. All you have to do is add water (and oil if desired for a creamier sauce)! How to Cook: there are 2 ways of cooking this Easy - mix contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter if desired. Cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If it is too thick, add more water.  For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil. Extra Creamy (recommended!) - in a blender, add contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter. Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute. Pour into a small pan and cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If too thick, add a little water. For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil. We recommend making the extra creamy sauce, but honestly even doing it the easy way makes a creamy sauce and when you are eating it on pasta you almost can’t tell the difference. The extra creamy sauce will be thicker than the easy sauce, so you may need to add a little extra water after cooking. After cooking, taste and add more salt/pepper if desired. Make a super quick meal with this vegan carbonara sauce powder! What is carbonara? It is a classic Italian pasta sauce that is made from eggs, cheese, olive oil, and usually onions, garlic, and black pepper. It is served with a smoky meat (often pancetta or bacon). Definitely not vegan! But no worries, now you can have your carbonara vegan style!! This powder is made from ground cashews, tapioca starch, and the perfect combination of spices and flavoring to get a slightly eggy and cheesy flavor, with a good sprinkle of black pepper. Since carbonara is traditionally made from eggs, we really wanted to incorporate a slightly egg flavor. Enter black salt!! Black salt has a smell and taste that is so similar to eggs. So just a touch of that adds the perfect amount of eggy flavor to this carbonara! Cashews and tapioca combine to make a perfect creamy and cheesy consistency to this sauce. The cashews are blended with the other ingredients so that they are finely ground. All you have to do is add water (and olive oil if desired for a more authentic sauce)! How to Cook: there are 2 ways of cooking this Easy - mix contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter if desired. Cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If it is too thick, add more water.  For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil. Extra Creamy (recommended!) - in a blender, add contents with 450ml water and 1-2 Tablespoons of oil or vegan butter. Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute. Pour into a small pan and cook over medium heat until it thickens and comes to a boil. If too thick, add a little water. For a lower fat sauce, use extra water and NO oil. We recommend making the extra creamy sauce, but honestly even doing it the easy way makes a creamy sauce and when you are eating it on pasta you almost can’t tell the difference. The extra creamy sauce will be thicker than the easy sauce, so you may need to add a little extra water after cooking. After cooking, taste and add more salt/pepper if desired. Adding oil/butter is optional as it is plenty flavorful and creamy as it is. But the oil does give it more richness, so try it both ways and see which you prefer. How to Serve: Carbonara is traditionally served with spaghetti noodles, and a smoky meat such as pancetta or bacon. I suggest chopping up some of our smoky pepper roast and sautéing it until crispy. Mix your sauce with the spaghetti and add your smoky pepper roast on top. Serve with a salad or add green peas to the pasta. Add some of our grated vegan parmesan or hard parmesan on top!! OR use the dry powder as a cheesy sprinkle on popcorn, pasta, veggies, salad, etc.! This sauce is also great on veggie burgers, roasted veggies, steamed broccoli, mixed into pasta/rice/chickpeas/veggie for a casserole, and more! Kids love this as a white Mac and cheese as well.  Simply cook 250g of pasta (or more for less saucy).  Prepare the sauce and mix together with the pasta.  Add any veggies/protein as desired. One pack has approximately 95g, enough to make 2 1/2 cups of sauce!  This is enough for 250-500g of pasta, depending on how saucy you want it. Vegan Herb Roast is a chicken or turkey style roast and is so versatile! It is precooked and can be eaten cold or heated up/cooked in several different ways. Here are some uses: Slice it cold for sandwiches, wraps, etc. Chop and use on pizza. Slice or chop and heat up with some barbecue sauce. Serve as a side dish or in a sandwich. Slice or chop it up, sauté or grill it with a touch of oil, and use it as a side dish, topping, or mix it into your dishes such as fried noodles, noodle soup, etc. Chop and stir fry with onions and veggies. Add a quick stir fry sauce or sweet/sour sauce and serve with rice or noodles. Chop and use in a curry, stew, or soup. Bake the whole roast to heat it up (or just grill/sauté thick slices) and serve with mashed potatoes and other veggies with gravy on the side. To bake/roast, heat oven to 170 C. Vegan shredded un-chicken is so versatile and very tasty! It is a whole protein, being made of a combination of chickpeas and wheat gluten. Together these two have all the essential proteins your body needs. It is made in a special way so that it shreds easily, similar to cooked chicken. One pack has more than 1 full cup of chickpeas in it (but you can’t tell), so it’s a great way to eat more legumes, especially for those who don’t like eating plain chickpeas.  It is also soy free. It is precooked and can be eaten cold or heated up/cooked in several different ways. It comes in a pack of medium/large size shreds. Use as is or shred or chop into smaller pieces. To shred, just pull it apart, it will shred at the grain easily. If frozen, allow to thaw before shredding. Looking for simple, tasty, and nutritious breakfasts? With this vegan omelet and french toast mix, it's super easy! This versatile mix can be used to make simple omelets, fluffy omelets, scramble, French toast, quiche, frittata, and even a roti/wrap/tortilla! Instructions: Easy Omelet: whisk 1/3 cup omelet mix with 1/3 cup water. Let mixture sit for 5 minutes and whisk again to get rid of lumps (or simply blend for a quick smooth mixture). Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour in half of the batter. Spread thinly or leave thick. Cook until top has almost no shiny/wet spots. Flip and cook the other side until lightly browned. Add any desired fillings and fold in half. Repeat with other half of batter. If you spread it thinly this can be used as a wrap/tortilla or instead of a tosai/roti. Fluffy Omelet: Use a food processor, small blender, or stick blender to blend 1/2 cup (50g) of mix with 300g silken tofu. Cook same as the easy omelet. Omelet will be a bit more delicate, soft and fluffy, more like an actual egg omelet. If you make it thick you can break it up after cooking both sides to make it like scrambled eggs. French toast: whisk 1/4 cup mix with 1/2 cup nondairy milk. If desired, add some cinnamon and/or sugar to the mixture. Let sit 5 minutes and whisk again to get rid of lumps. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat. Dip both sides of bread into mix and cook both sides until golden brown.  Repeat with more bread. Serve sweet with fruit and syrup, or serve savory with chutney and curry.   Variations: Add pepper, spices, and herbs to the omelet mixture before cooking. Black pepper, chili flakes, curry leaves, cumin, etc. Add finely chopped veggies to the easy or fluffy omelet mixture before cooking such as capsicum, chile, onion, spinach, grated carrot, etc. Omelet filling ideas- sauteed onions, mushrooms, spinach, vegan sausage, vegan cheese Use the mixture from easy omelet or fluffy omelet and mix in fillings and bake in a muffin tray (grease the tray or use cupcake holders) at 180C until firm and lightly browned. Or use as the base of a quiche or frittata.
