Sunny Vegan Cheese
Our sunny cheeses were our second line of cheese blocks. Because so many people have to be either soy free or nut free, we wanted them to have some cheese options as well! Organic sunflower seeds are a great source of protein and nutrients, and are better for the environment than many nuts. Our sunny cheeses are more firm compared to our classic smooth cheeses. They are easy to slice and shred, and they melt easily. When melted they are nice and gooey and even stretch! These and our extra melty soy cheeses (purple label) are made to be extra melty and are the perfect choice for pizza, grilled sandwiches, to top a casserole, etc.
Our extra melty cheeses are made from a base of organic soy milk. This adds some protein, nutrients, and creaminess to the cheese. The difference between this and our classic (green label) cheeses is that it is more firm, and it also melts faster and more easily. It is the perfect choice for grilled cheese, quesadillas, inside vegan omelettes, on pizza, on nachos, etc. It also stays melty/gooey longer than our classic cheese. Vegan cheese is hard to find in Malaysia, but not anymore! This vegan chipotle cheddar style cheese is super flavorful and versatile! It is infused with a punch of chipotle (smoked jalepeno peppers). It slices, grates, melts, and gets nice and gooey/stretchy! Add it to some macaroni and nondairy milk for an instant mac’n’cheese! It is awesome in grilled cheese sandwiches or on top of a “cheeseburger” style pizza. Also great on sandwiches, burgers, chopped in salads, and wherever else you love a good spicy and smokey cheddar! Block of cheese is approximately 200g organic sunflower milk (filtered water, organic sunflower seeds), refined coconut oil, modified potato starch, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, salt, apple cider vinegar, carrageenan, spices, olive extract, chipotle powder, lactic acid *This product has NO onion/garlic **This product is soy free ***This product is gluten free in that it contains no gluten containing ingredients. However, it is produced in a facility that also makes gluten containing products. Though we do our best to clean equipment, we cannot guarantee no cross contamination.
