Extra Melty Akela Cheeses are made from a base of organic soy milk, to add protein and creaminess to the cheese.  These cheeses are more firm compared to our classic smooth cheeses.  They are easy to slice and shred, and they melt easily. When melted they are nice and gooey and even stretch!  These and our sunny cheeses (yellow label) are made to be extra melty and are the perfect choice for pizza, grilled sandwiches, to top a casserole, etc.

New! Our new extra melty cheeses are made from a base of organic soy milk.  This adds some protein, nutrients, and creaminess to the cheese. The difference between this and our classic (green label) cheeses is that it is more firm, and it also melts faster and more easily.  It is the perfect choice for grilled cheese, quesadillas, inside vegan omelettes, on pizza, on nachos, etc. It also stays melty/gooey longer than our classic cheese. This vegan mozzarella style cheese is perfect!  It slices, grates, melts, and stretches.  Add it to your favorite pizza base (below the toppings for the best melt) and bake at 230ºC for 12-15 minutes for a perfect pizza! (temp and time varies depending on your individual oven). This cheese is also awesome grated on top of pasta, lasagna, in a grilled cheese sandwich, and much more! Block of cheese is approximately 200g
