Vegan Barbecue Un-Chicken Pizza
Craving pizza but looking for something a bit different? This barbecue un-chicken pizza will hit the spot!
This pizza starts with a classic wheat crust, and is topped with a homemade barbecue sauce. Then we add a generous topping of Akela extra melty mozzarella cheese and Verdanya shredded un-chicken marinated in barbecue sauce. A few slices of onion give the perfect finish.
Preheat oven to 200-230°C (hotter is better, but it's ok if your oven only goes to 200). Place pizza on a flat pan. Add any additional desired toppings. Bake for 8-15 minutes until cheese is melty and crust is golden. The cheese will mostly melt in the last few minutes, so if it is not melty enough, just leave it in for a couple extra minutes. The hot temperature gives the best melt.

Crust: wheat flour, salt, sugar, yeast, water, olive oil
BBQ Sauce: tomato paste, water, coconut sugar, molasses, apple cider vinegar, liquid smoke, onion/garlic powder, salt, spices
Cheese: organic soy milk, refined coconut oil, modified potato starch, tapioca starch, salt, nutritional yeast, lactic acid, kappa carrageenan
Un-chicken: chickpeas, wheat gluten, water, nutritional yeast, chicken style bouillon, mushroom seasoning, sunflower oil, onion/garlic powder, herbs & spices, salt
